Lovely find on holiday Lyme Regis

It's been over a Year since I called in here, hope your all well last summer on  holiday I rescued this Amp meter from a junk shop, sorry I mean Antiques Centre :-[, fully restored now, languishing in the workshop.

Hi Sean, Yes Calibrated as well, the Calibration engineer said the same 54/56,I was born in 1954,so it has to be 59 Years old at least. And I use it for those precise measurements.

One of the pair is ageing well then, though the meter cabinet probably is showing less weather damage.... ;)

Probably around 2% of full scale, like most analogue meter movements have if they do not have a mirror scale.

You can't beat it, I was doing some adjusting today, I could watch the drop of the needle and then it just started to rise, so backed the adjustment off for perfection, I also  had a digital wired up as well, but with  that last digit wandering around, it wasn't as good.
