They did not stress the range switch like Martin did.  ;)

This video is just a selective commercial advert.
Thanks God, there is people out there who does not stay in the surface, and actual they do use those things, before they publish their opinion.

When it comes to the real needs of one electrician , the average length of a fully opened aluminum ladder is just 4 meter high.
When the ladder is opened in the double support position, is not higher than 1,80 metes.
Agilent informs about 1,20 meters as safe distance for a drop test in their U1270 series.
And naturally the most robust one at drop tests is the Fluke 28II, which is tested for a 5 meters drop test ,
and it is (truly) waterproof too (with out the need for additional plastic add-on shields in the banana holes).

CEM in China needs to learn that the strong external package is not what matters the most in our days.

Even in the original they do not show the meter afterwards.....

The associated videos though were fun, especially the one of the guys trying to hit a RC plane flying as target practise. Only guy consistently able to hit it was using a Gatling gun, basically shooting a solid lead stream and aiming it at the general area of the plane. Safest place at the range with those guys is probably on the other side of 3 mountains...... At least I can occasionally hit what I shoot at. I used to aim to take the tip off the pointer....1mm at a time.
