Here's my feedback and opinion on Martin's QTV for what it's worth:

I like the new theme tune, although I do miss the old Chinese one, which I would sing along to, " ding ding ding ding...".

I got completely lost within about 2 minutes of watching this. I understand that the pace had picked up considerably, but for me it was too much in too little time, and I couldn't digest it all that well. I subscribed to Martin's channel because I enjoy his patient explanations, and anecdotes, and his learning journey. With QTV, it's feels like it doesn't come from the heart, like he's reading a script, and someone is standing over him with a stopwatch.

Sorry Martin, but QTV doesn't do it for me. I'm sure a lot of work has gone into making the QTV video, but it doesn't meet with excellence. I would much prefer something like this to be covered in one of your T4Ds.

Nice intro.

I agree with Ecobion that it seemed a bit rushed. But it was still a good overview of everything.

Hello Gents,

I really appreciate the honest feedback.

I had a good laugh too at this "and someone is standing over him with a stopwatch."...it seems no one saw a "little" mistake I made...I had a stopwatch and forgot it in fame of the video for a while!!!

This first one was too fast and I was like a robot...it's difficult for me to do these "quickies" but I hope to do a better job in the next one.
These will not replace the normal full reviews or tutorials I do...so again, if they are not your "cup of tea" (which I fully respect) skip over them.
There are many folks that don't like the T4D's but they will continue. It's all a balancing act at times and I'll never please everyone all the time.

Cheers,
Martin.
Play, discover, learn and enjoy! (and don't be scared to make mistakes along the way!)
