I have my suspicions that this meter is being made by Brymen. The test leads are almost identical to those supplied by Brymen.

Brymen did make a 40000 count meter and Flir's DM93 10/sec update is twice as fast as the "usual" Brymen 5/sec update speed.

Appatech, also based in Taiwan, would be another possible candidate since they make a 40000 count meter and have a menu system in the Appa 503.
