Other major contributors to electronics on the YouTube site use the same musical intro. It is, in my opinion, a reminder of just who we are about to learn from (I know, a preposition). I don't mind the music. A larger video production site is also giving a 'new' and exciting, showing off the testing equipment, etc.
As an example of intro music, look at one example:

The intro is unique and has established itself as an identifier for that company...kind of like hearing the Mickey Mouse theme; you know what's coming.
MJ Lorton should, also, establish his video intro as a unique identifier for us that follow this training sessions.
