Clean and now dry, and with the cracks opened up to accept the flexible sealer that will allow the slab to flex a little but still not leak, and soon to be sealed to make it more water resistant. The finished walls will get inspection panels so that they can be checked as well for faults in the future.
Hopefully that includes adding GFCI outlets to replace the existing outlets, and checking the wall boxes for water ingress.
The sad loss of his vacuum cleaner, and the manufacturer sending out spares for it to repair it, either the switch has died or the motor turned itself into a copper mess.
