Nissan Leaf Review

A note sent to me by a viewer:

Just an update, I've got the Nissan Leaf now so I've been all electric

>   * few initial problems getting insurance and the correct charging cable
>   * very nice car, roomy, well built, fast, responsive, quiet,
>     comfortable, easy to drive
>   * range is around 60 miles driving normally (less that quoted, but
>     perfectly workable)
>   * you can get a better range if you drive slower and more carefully
>   * should be fine for anyone who drives up to about 40 miles a day
>   * ignore dashboard / app / website estimates, just count the bars on

Play, discover, learn and enjoy! (and don't be scared to make mistakes along the way!)

Very nice, would do almost all of my daily driving for 95% of the time, with no problems. This would be a perfect commuter car, doing well for most people in inner suburbs that commute, and as a bonus you probably could get a reasonable charge if you have a parking in the building where you work with a socket outlet near it.
