Lovely old Tektronix 310A oscilloscope
« on: April 14, 2014, 06:49:01 PM »
Thought I'd post a couple of photos of my much-loved old Tektronix 310A oscilloscope and its manual.

It works beautifully, glows a comforting orange, and warms up my living room, thus being bifunctional...

Does it work well as a hand warmer? I could have done with something like that earlier on today.

Anyway, yay for glowy electronics. Electronic things should have a nice glow more often :D.

It does once it gets going...

And yes.  It's such a nice colour, the glow, it makes the whole room look nicer!

Very nice piece of kit! Thanks for the post.
Play, discover, learn and enjoy! (and don't be scared to make mistakes along the way!)
