HELP

Hi everyone I wonder if you could help me out

I have a low amp clamp which are used for parasitic drains on a battery for automotive use but obviously it is very sensitive and it is picking up interference all around I was wondering if there's any type of tape I can put on the outside of the clamp to stop interference or is there anything else I can do to try and stop as much outside interference as possible so when I put it over the cable I am just getting a true Reading from the cable and not interference everywhere else

What I was thinking of doing as you can see from the picture on the black clamps is putting some sort of shielding tape on the outside but I don't know which is the best stuff to use if anyone can give me any ideas it would be much appreciated thank you
