Car sensor diagnosis have become an very complex work, I find the specific product description as very optimistic and close to be called as misinformation.

Interesting find @retiredcaps, but not a gem :)

I figured since Martin liked the UT90A for its big screen and readability, the Actron CP7677 might find a niche for his friend.  I agree that this Actron CP7677 is probably on the "low end" compared to other specialized manufacturers in the automotive industry.

If it wasn't obvious, I have no expertise in the automotive field.

What drew my attention to this multimeter was that it was listed on ebay at a starting bid of 99 cents.  Of course, I was interested at 99 cents.  ;)

You know what...I gave Dean a cheap multimeter for testing automotive measurements...he only takes the most basic measurements (continuity and voltage)....but this would be far better with that big clear screen.
I'll see how long it takes him to trash the one I gave him....then I'll suggest this one to him  ;)

Plus I'll add it to my store...ta!

Cheers,
Martin.

Not a clone, just a rebrand. Remember if a company clones a chinese product any company even outside china is in big trouble!

Yes, clone was a poor word choice on my part.
