Making a case for DMMCheck
« on: March 02, 2013, 11:00:56 PM »
Hi guys my first post here, some of you know me from EEVblog forums I guess. I know from Martin’s videos people are interested in his DMMCheck case, so I thought I post here too  :)

Below text is same as on EVVblog forums, what can I say... I am lazy  ;D
I wanted a case for my DMMCheck to protect it, so I ordered a case from Conrad and worked out the face plate. The original case had a metal plate which wouldn’t work so I made one with Plexiglas but that shattered when I was putting the panel temperature meter in there.

This time I used porous PVC because it is easy to work with. Some people are interested in such a case so I took also a video while I was making the face plate, meanwhile I was also testing my new camera.

Anyways if someone has neat ideas for a case share with us, this is how mine look like:

Here is the video how I made it:

Great work, thanks for making the post here. I have shared it on Google +, FB and Twitter.
Play, discover, learn and enjoy! (and don't be scared to make mistakes along the way!)
