Fluke 107 vs Fluke 115 vs Fluke 17B size and weight...

Hi Folks,

Just a few quick shots (not the best...) of the Fluke 107 side by side with the Fluke 115 and Fluke 17B.

Will do the full video review and a look inside later this week.

Regarding Martin's comment about meters not going back down to 3 decimal places (around 17:50), I believe it has do with the IC being used.  I haven't found who makes the main IC, but I suspect it is some Fortune Semiconductor variation.

If you look at the FS9922 datasheet, a 6000 count IC, the auto range up count is 6040 and the auto range down count is 560.  So if I'm reading it correctly, the multimeter should display 6.039 before going to 6.04.  It will then go back to 3 decimal places at 5.480 (6040 - 560).

Cheap for Fluke, but will most likely meet the specs easily, and will have a reasonable build quality and will stand up to the ratings claimed for it. Wonder at the price point. Looks like it will be targeted at service field use by electricians and airconditioning people.
