Hello!
In addition to the upcoming Martin's video lessons in electronics I would suggest the free Tony R. Kuphaldt's textbook available here in pdf:

The amount of pages is about 2700 (6 books) with a lot of figures and in my opinion is a very good source to study electronics.

Thank you very much for posting this PDF, but I cant wait to see series from Martin, the way he represents electronics with passion in voice is remarkable. Evrytime I watch his youtube videos I feel like kid that got some Lego's
