OK I've been searching and searching but I can't find a simple tutorial to add backlight to the UT61E.
Enough videos on YouTube without any explanation, service packs that involve adding silicone to the meter and add much more features than I want, but not a simple description of how to add a push button for switching backlight on/off.
Where do I get my voltage from? Which pin on the chip is for controlling backlight?
I can't read (complex) schematics so "check the service manual" is not going to work for me.
I only have basic knowledge of electronics and know how to solder the LED's but that's as far as it goes.
Can anyone help me please?
