PS. I think you HAD to test switching to ohms while on mains voltage.  Since it is not a rotary switch, what would happen if you accidentally hit the ohms button while plugged into mains?

Yes...as for the ohms test....I literally had to not think and hit the button as I was very concerned what the end result might be....but you are correct...it could easily happen in practice so handy to know what the result would be.

Just watched your review of this meter and enjoyed very much. This is certainly an interesting meter configuration and is shown in the manual being worn on the users belt. I was wondering if it comes with a belt clip?

It is a great meter...still my favorite. It does not come with the belt clip, that must be an option accessory.
