Piranha Super-Flux vs high brightness 5mm LED

Hello evryone,

I hope I dont break any rules with this topic, but since I did comparison between normal High brightness LED's and Piranha Super-Flux ones I tought to give it a try under this sub forum since it states "Product review"

For actual test I have used two 5mm high brightness LED’s and two Piranha Super-Flux. All four are cold white color except one Piranha is warm white.

LED’s came from website www.hebeiltd.com.cn which they have quite low prices compared to others, only catch is if you buy low quantity they charge you “penalty” for that.

All I have to say is that even tho the 5mm High brightness one was rated up to 18.000mcd it didn't even come close to the Piranha Super-Flux one rated at max. 12.000mcd. Yes I do understand that also viewing angle has role here but as pure power it is obvious that Piranha ones are winner by far.
