Multimeter Reference Check give away!
« on: May 15, 2012, 03:56:21 AM »
I will be giving away the "proof of concept" / prototype multimeter reference check that I'm working on. It will be calibrated and I hope will provide some value to whoever receives it.

The build, testing and calibration can be followed here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL53A0673C56D8C132&feature=plcp

To enter this giveaway (should be by the end of June) just post a reply here with:

* Your name:
* The country and city you live in:
* Your favorite multimeter:

I will post a video doing the draw naming the winner....good luck!

Cheers,
Martin.
Play, discover, learn and enjoy! (and don't be scared to make mistakes along the way!)

Hello Forum, hello Martin!

My favorite multimeter - based on a review, but unfortunately haven't tried it yet - is the Brymen BM867. If that doesn't count then my real favorite multimeter is the Mastech M-830B, because that's the one I use and know well.

Name: Róbert Biró.
Country and city: Romania, Csíkszereda (officially Miercurea Ciuc).

Nice effort! Cheers! :)

Hey Forum

I am Ulli S. from Germany Cologne  ( I don't like to post my full name on the Internet )
I use this Multimeters

Fluke 87V EX  My favorite handheld, without the GSM bug   ;)
Fluke 8840A    It's a benchtop DMM, maybe 20 jears old, but it works fine.
Unitrend UT61B   It's okay, but most times I use it for logging only.
BBC Goerz Metrawatt  M2012  It is very old, however, it is a good one and I like to use it.
