Hi Guys
This is my project for oscilloscope contest. It is Control Panel to emulate keyboard shortcuts in Mach3 software. Mach 3 is popular software to control CNC machine.  Communication with the software can be done by using mouse or keyboard shortcuts keys. I never remembered which one are which so i decided to make control panel using Arduino Leonardo.

Very recently i put it all together and ran first test run.

Video of this can be seen there http://youtu.be/sP8AKqnnQFk
Video of CNC engraving the button. http://youtu.be/OhKs9RNlSwM

All buttons are illuminated and "color coded" to distinguish between different functions. So now instead of pressing Alt-R to start the program i just press the start button. Much user friendly.

Hello Hoopoe,

I'm really pleased to see what you have created but here are the criteria required for this competition as posted at the start of the thread:

1st Prize - ISO-TECH IDS6102A-U 100 Mhz Oscilloscope with Arduino Kit
1) Build an AM or FM radio circuit using only analog components (no ICs). Create a circuit diagram with DesignSpark PCB (http://www.designspark.com/) and upload it here to this forum topic / thread. Upload a photo or video of your breadboard circuit.

or

2) Build a power supply circuit. Create a circuit diagram with DesignSpark PCB (http://www.designspark.com/) and upload it here to this forum topic / thread. Upload a photo or video of your breadboard circuit.

If you can submit something in time by Monday or Tuesday next week, that would be great.

Cheers,
Martin.

PS: I won't give up making the video...

So, I got a camera, made a 15 minute video and although it's not the best I decided to make it public. :)
I've been having a sore throat for more than two weeks and words came hard, but I thought that some of you might find it interesting to see my project live in action.

Congrats on the Winner

But How does someone win with a power supply  when the competition was for  a AM or FM Radio ?????

SO WTF you picked a person who failed to follow the rules ?????
I am not saying I should win because my children are more important than the competition and you stated clearly stated the rules and alot of people followed the rules as you instructed ... But you are going to punish the people who follow the rules for someone who failed to comply with the rules ????

That is plain Bullshit for anyone who tried really hard to win ...

SHAME ON YOU

@TorqueRanger Please read rules carefully:

Quote
1) Build an AM or FM radio circuit[...]

or

2) Build a power supply circuit. [...]

Obviously apples and oranges don't compare but this competition wasn't about comparison.

Congratulations for the winner!
