If you buy seven, and if you have blue eyes, there is a possibility to become even a reviewer. LOL

hahahahaaaa    ;D

Nop .. only the real thing wins.

The other way to succeed is to have blue multimeters.  ;)

I've just bought another one of these meters on Ebay for £50;  I think I'm starting to get a multimeter addiction, is this how it starts? ;-)

I've just bought yet another one from Ebay for £50; it came with a yellow protective rubber and a recent calibration certificate which was a nice surprise. The extra one should come in handy for my next hobby project!

Classic! Once I've got through a few more tutorials and other bits there are a couple of ISO-TECH meters that have caught my eye for review....Fluke have also announced  a "cheapy" that I'll try get hold of too.
Play, discover, learn and enjoy! (and don't be scared to make mistakes along the way!)

Hi,  oh dear! -  how did you do that?    can you post a photo of the board indicating the damaged parts location?  also what year is the PCB board?

Hi,  I can't see any attached pictures?  can you upload to the forum?

[edit]
You mentioned in your PM that you had attached some pictures, but there was nothing attached to your email.
Anyway, no problem;  here is a circuit diagram which might help you if the circuit matches your particular meter.

Hi, in-circuit I measured; -

R36 @ 23.9K
RB1 @ 14.9K

I took some pictures but RB1 was hard to read; but looks like it could be 153.
