Title: Proper BMS wiring for 4-cell Li-ion battery
Post by: nihilperditi on December 07, 2016, 01:12:05 AM
I have what may be considered a beginner's question for sure in such a technical forum (apologies in advance if I insult the intelligence of anyone).  I am building my first off grid solar electrical system and will have a 200AH, 4-cell 12V Li-ion battery that is managed via Electrodacus' SBMS 100.  I have looked at the manual and both tutorial videos on the SBMS 100 but I must admit I am not too sure what the proper wiring would be for a 4-cell option.

In the following tutorial video starting around 12:50 Dacian starts to talk about a 4-cell configuration and it sounds as if the extra wires in the middle would be connect to the positive ends of the 3rd and 2nd cells.  I am not too sure.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.  Thank you,
