Hi Martin,
Interesting video as always! I didn't know about the Ultra DMM software, so good to know for when I do get a DMM with data logging.
As for your questions re the torture test video, I think I would prefer to see a tear down and calibration rolled into one video, and pass on the torture test all together. If you have it in bits, you might as well try a the calibration at the same time!
My thoughts re the torture test is that for most people they are using their meters at a bench or on the car/boat etc. and therefore the torture they are likely to receive is more likely going to be from it been dropped or submerged in water.

I saw your reply re the torture test so that will happen in Part 4....but I will keep it short ;)
I like the idea the drop test from the bench...that makes a great deal of sense....submerging this one might not be fair ;D....but a cup of coffee spilt on it could arranged!!

You can try drop it but it's pointless, dave jones did a shootout and the UT61 series is one of the toughest ones ...
