Ok...I'm sure that's less than it was 6 months ago. From what I heard they were planning to open a production facility in Namibia for lead crystal batteries...

I think it is more an indication of the rise in price of the standard SLA battery as against a cost reduction. I have seen the price double at least over the last 2 years. 3 years ago a 6V 4AH battery was R45.00, now it is R105.00 for the same unit. I have a habit of writing the date and price on those in emergency lights.
