Title: Radio interview...
Post by: MJLorton on March 23, 2013, 08:33:50 AM
I was asked by the Google  / Youtube promotional lass to do an interview with a local radio station, Kaya FM (http://www.kayafm.co.za/)

Attached is the audio for those interested.

Cheers,
Martin.

Cool.

I wonder if you will get any new subscriber as a result of this.

Anyone else been on the radio?

It was about 11/12 years since I last talked on the radio (for a quiz), but I did get Steve Orchard to give me a mention during the celebrations segment for my 17th birthday back in 2008. 8)

Great communication skills Martin! I certainly would've stopped/paused a few times while talking. :)

I just checked my channel settings whether in theory I could earn something from YouTube videos and interestingly I found this message: Monetization. Your account is not eligible. Is this a because I'm from Romania? I tried to follow the links (Learn more) that YouTube puts there, but after a few clicks I got lost and/or got caught in a link-loop. :-\

Thanks!

That's odd about the monetising...it might have something to do with Romania....I know South Africa only came "online" in terms of being able to monetise a few years ago.

Investigate it further though, make sure you know the reason why as it is certainly worth while doing if you can.
