Title: On-grid system
Post by: ene.dragos.george on July 22, 2013, 08:20:54 AM
Hello,
I'm new on the forum so maybe it is there but didn't found any post about a on-grid system.
So please help with a opinion.
I want to make an on-grid system tied to 3Ph 400V with a inverter from Siemens.
From the videos on youtube i didn't understand 2 things:
1) If the grid goes down how can i still get power from solar panels, because if no grid the Siemens goes down with the Grid Fault error.
2) In Romania like in Africa is very difficult to feed power to the grid, so Mj talked in the video about a monitoring system that can switch on some pool pump or other consumers when the energy is in excess. Where can i find something like that?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,

I know I have just posted you a personal message but for the benefit of others I'll post here as well.

Exsolar (www.exsolar.co.za) are working with a gent that I met (Clinton) that developed an intelligent power monitor and data logger that can do load diversion.

Cheers,
Martin.
