Martin:
WTF? You did not open the case at all? I am shocked!
Other than that, it was a nice concise review. Looks like a good tool but I want to see inside!
-
Oh no ,not another meter :'(
-
You know Martin has a fetish for good meters...........
Nice to see such a good unit as well, must look at getting one for myself if possible.

Yes Sean, it come's under the category of , someone who needs to get out more :)

He has gone on holiday this week, so definitely is getting out now.

Good , he may think of interesting circuits with the Schmitt triggers, like a fast edge pulse generator very useful , or may a period of looking into useful I.C's stretch himself a bit. I often look up an IC to see what it does, and the circuits that go with it for my uses of test equipment , and of course our Amateur Radio, talking of which Sean, PIC programing , in Radio com last year, the was a project of an SWR analyser, which Pic based. so that going to be my winter evenings taken care of. How are you with the Ham Radio now.

That meter is made for motormen. I need one as I build and service power plant but very few into electronics would, the resistance and capacitance ranges are for testing windings and starter caps only. It has a far higher amps range than most people in electronics would ever need. At that price point no hobbyist could warrant it. And what is the internal build like.
