Title: Off-Grid system 6 KW
Post by: Ragy on September 07, 2013, 01:27:30 PM
Hello ;

I will install  6 KW off-grid system and i need help

Components:
Solar panel  150w * 40 pcs  connect 8 in series and 5 in parallel poly-crystalline
battery  12 V  200 Ah   * 8 pcs
Solar controller
Inverter

I live in sunny place  in Kuwait i have many sunlight hours around 8 Hours

my problem now is the load. If system can handle it or not

2  Air conditions  3 KW     working for    8 Hours
1  TV                   300 W   working for    8 Hours
1 Computer         200 W  working for    6 Hours
5 Lights               42 W     working for   10 hours

Total Load = 48000 + 1800 + 1200 + 2100 = 53100 WH

And my battery will be 24V * 800 AH = 19200 WH

I want someone confirm my calculation right or wrong

What will happen if the load >> the system ?

Best Regards;
Ragy
