Title: Fluke 787 Process Meter
Post by: TechJunkie on October 19, 2013, 09:16:39 AM
So, in my continued quest to find more useful test gear I ran across this little gem called a ProcessMeter by Fluke. The model is a 787 and I bought the unit on eBay in like new condition for 200 bucks. This is a current loop calibration meter used in Processing applications but the specifications of the meter are very impressive especially the current sourcing specs which allow down to 1uA resolution adjustment! I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with these units? I have many projects that this guy would be a great asset for.

Martin, have you seen these?

Those are nice for process control setup, as they do all the common instrumentation setup and diagnostics in a single rugged package with very good accuracy and are perfect for use in the field and during test and repair as well.

This is my loop calibrator I bought from Ebay a couple of years ago;  it's no way as nice as yours, but I find it very useful for things.
