Hello again!

Thanks for everyone who helpt me on choosing multimeters!

Now I just wondered if any one knows about the Fluke 183 True RMS multimeter? I found not much information other than the manual about it. So, if anyone has experiences, please let me know. It seems that it has dual-display and datalogging funktion.

I saw an used one on our local 'ebay' site. Is it a good choice to not-so-professional use? I just want to use it to log information of my self-designed Li-ion charger, which is controlled by a PRC.

Right now I have a newly calibrated fluke 87-V, which works perfect and an Uni-T 71D, which has a terrible building quality. So, I am seeking help again about the fluke 183.

The Fluke 183 = Tektronix TX1 and Fluke 185 = Tektronix TX3.  Mark Z (aka multimeter junkie) did a video review

I know someone who has one, but unfortunately it displays a CAL ERR and is closed case calibration.  Getting it calibrated would probably cost around $75 to $100 and not worth it to the owner.

Seeing how you have a calibrated Fluke 87V, you can always buy a current/new model data logging meter and use the 87V as a periodic check.

Thank you så much for the help!

I think I'll  use the UT71D that I already have. then check the value with the 87v, though the building quality is very bad. I'll make a review about the UT71D later when I finish my project.
