Title: AlphaLab HR2 High Resistance Meter (Electrometer)
Post by: TechJunkie on March 26, 2014, 02:07:06 PM
I picked this up a couple months ago and have been playing around with it more. This unit is a precision low current high resistance meter which is capable of measuring conductance down to 0.01 pS or effectively 100T Ohm. Although, you have to shield your measurements very well with the really high resistance modes it does not take too much to setup a rig to do so. The unit comes with an aluminum shield box which attaches to the from for small samples to be measured. Being able to accurately measure insulation materials on circuit boards and many different components is intriguing to say the least. I have contacted the engineers before and these guys are very knowledgable and helpful. Their products are well built and very accurate.

Here is the link to the HR2 page. If your interested in one of these!
