hi all i need HELP i'm looking for this resistor its to fix a bosh drill charger   the resistor is 8.8mm long and 2.6 mm thick Brown, Grey, orange silver or red green orange silver put i dont no a lot about resistor hope you can hlep thanks i think is a 18k i got 18k 0.5w but thay burnt out

18k 1W resistor. A 0.5W one will burn out if you try to dissipate 1W with it. If you only have 18k 0.5W take 4 and put 2 in series, 2 in series and then place the 2 series strings in parallel and see if it works then. That will be a 18k 2W resistor. May not fit if the space is tight but will at least prove if it is the fault.
