In a current project I need a micro-controller to measure AC line voltage and current, and if possible to identify spikes and brown outs.
I have tried a few approaches and documented them.
ACS-756 from Allegro:

ADE 7913 from Analog Devices:

I am starting on the CS5464 from Cirrus. I should finish that up in a couple of days.
Does anyone have a particular favorite device?
If you have any suggested approaches or other feedback, I'd be glad to hear it!

This is what I use. Seems to do a great job. The software is pretty good also!

Oh yes, forgot to add the WattsUp Pro. This has been a handy device although the software has room for improvment.

Although those are interesting products, I need a micro-controller to measure AC line voltage and current.
I have a couple of current clamp meters (as seen in the first video, one old junk and a decent new one) that work well enough. The goal is to have current measurement integrated into my project.
I expect that across the forum, members have used various approaches to integrate mains current measurement directly into their boards. I am hoping those members can enlighten me on their approaches, as well as things to watch out for, or how to mitigate problems.

Ahh, I see.
