Do you guys know if the meters made by Omega are engineered and manufactured by them or another company? I'm receiving one for free and will get to check it out in more detail. I believe it is in the $100 range... Any other thoughts on these meters?

Is this www.omega.com?

Yes, it is from Omega Engineering. I'll update with the model number as soon as I receive it. I believe it's in the $100-200 range.

Hard to say without a model number. They probably only reselling renamed products.
For example: The HHM8229 is a rebadged Mastech8229. The HHM Ex-540 is a rebadged Extech 540 (OEM CEM).
And so on...
Pricing is usual. The devices are not playing in the same league as Fluke, GMI or Agilent, but Mastech, CEM and
Hantek are also not the worst manufacturers.

Hartmut

Just a quick glance at their website it appears that they do some re-branding. This is not necessarily a bad thing, most Extech products are made by OEM's as is Reed, B&K, and so on. Once you get the model number I can give you a better idea.

Buying a rebranded multimeter can make a lot of sense if the company offering it supplies something that the OEM/ODM cannot. For example, tangible things like better warranty, discounted calibration services, replacement meters, training, etc.
