It seems that Youtube is going to change the conditions on how sponsorship are allowed on Youtube (apparently, basically they want a cut on the sponsorship)

Very interesting. I've always been aware that this might happen one day and it is in their T&Cs...they would just be enforcing it.
If it is enforced I'd have to see what "cut" they would want and then decide what route to go.
It will cause a lot of waves for content creators because Adsense income over the last year or so has dropped by 20-30% according to many Youtubers. It's partly due to lower rates being paid for Google ads (from what I can see) and less click throughs...I think folks (the general public) are being more careful how they spend their money.
Sponsor income is what keeps many Youtubers "alive" (myself included)...if that is removed or Google take a big cut you'll see quite a few full time bloggers having to find other work / means to support themselves.
Watch this space...it could make for some interesting changes in the future ;-)

I suppose this is not really surprising. After all, There are loads of adverts on YouTube and Google aren't making any money out it. Kinda sucks for an advertising company ;D.
