Title: How electronics is made in the new Russian Federation
Post by: SeanB on November 22, 2015, 08:20:00 AM
A photo tour through a military factory in the Russian Federation.

Look at how they make it, and the various ages of the assembly line equipment, ranging from an old wooden handled soldering iron to a more modern unit.

I hope you don't mind me posting this here, but it's interesting stuff too, Soviet digital electronics museum, computers, calculators, etc

No problem, interesting stuff there, especially all the hand assembled computers, though a lot of the more modern stuff looks like it was a simple badge engineering job using a Chinese contract manufacturer. The old electronics was often a Soviet copy of an American or other Western design.

Also some very nice nature landscapes as well. If you like snow there is a lot of it.
