Title: heh, got this old stereo from a neighbour today :)

it wasn't working, but now almost all functional, some pics, it still needs some love, but hey it was for free  ;D

Let me guess, radio works fine, record player as well and tape decks are iffy.  If the tape decks do not work they are hard to repair, as often the plastic parts have cracked and the rubber belts and rollers have perished.

The plastic parts that die are the little ones deep inside typically, I have found out from experience.
