With respect to the negative comment, the reason I watch and support Martin's channel is because he is a gentleman. I realize for the younger generation, that may not seem like a compliment, but it is.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gentleman"In modern speech, the term is usually democratised so as to include any man of good, courteous conduct, or even to all men (as in indications of gender-separated facilities, or as a sign of the speaker's own courtesy when addressing others)."
It is so easy today to sit anonymously behind a keyboard and shoot your off mouth with no real consequences. The amount of pure venom and personal attacks in other forums regarding this multimeter is astounding to me. As Martin said, "its just a multimeter".
People have different needs, budget and availability so if this multimeter meets their requirements then it is a good purchase for them.
It takes guts, passion, and a "no fear" attitude to do these videos. And there will be mistakes along the way.
PS. Uni-T could have made the user interface less ambiguous with the HZ, but then I see a Tektronix DMM912, DMM914 and DMM916 with the same markings.
