Question about multimeter

Hi guys, im new here and since im about to start studying i would like to ask you what would be the best multimeter for industial use but still good for little stuff like small projects i currently own Mastech MY-99 and i want to update to something better.

What is your budget and is there any functionality or specification in particular that you're looking for?

well autorange is a must, mA,data logging,backlit display and quite sharp almost like amoled, up to 1000v cat and budget wise well i have like 800 euros for multimeter

With that budget you can actually buy a 6.5 digit bench multimeter like the new Agilent or 2-3 handheld multimeters of very decent quality! Brands like Fluke, Agilent or Brymen have plenty to offer in that range. It's a lot more practical to have a couple of multimeters rather than getting just one ultra expensive meter anyway.
