Did you post a parts lists? or did I miss the part list along the way.
I like to put this on a bread board and work along with you as you do the testing.

These diagrams are courtesy of Peter Oakes (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCt-3wAyRz_KVRZNMEtXtfAQ) and my DesignSpark circuit diagram.

They do contain some errors but they should help none the less.
