I would like to see a tutorial on the http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/
product specifically with Solar PV included.

looks very interesting and it would be good to see the accuracy.
I currently have the THEOWL iniuition-pv installed and not very happy with it, so I am looking at other options.

Very interesting...I too would like to see a system like this that is modular and flexible.

I know you have been dealing with Exsolar so you might want to check with David to see if their monitoring and load diversion device is ready. I put David in touch with Clinton,  the gent that provided me with his energy monitoring device, and that is what they are developing.
