FOUND LCR Meter wanted with ESR

(1/2) > >>

WackyGerman:
Hi , I am looking for an LCR Meter with ESR function for searching bad caps in circuits . Would be nice if it has 100 kHz frequency measurement as well .

As far as I know, their is no combination LCR/ESR meter. If you are simply looking to find and replace bad capacitors, you will probably find that an ESR meter is more useful than an LCR meter. The Blue ESR meter is very popular: http://shop.anatekcorp.com/index.phpsrc=directory&view=products&srctype=detail&refno=2&category=Component%20Analyzers

However, an inexpensive $25 meter will work just fine. Most of these inexpensive meters will also measure capacitance, but this feature is not essential, since most mid-range multimeters have a capacitance range: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-12864-LCD-Transistor-Tester-Capacitance-ESR-Meter-Diode-Triode-MOS-NPN-LCR-/281282973310?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item417dc58e7e

As for frequency measurement, again, most mid-range multimeters will be able to measure 100kHz and beyond.

DE-5000 LCR meter has also an ESR meter.

This is the most stupidest forum btw, it asks you for so much verifications and stupid questions at registering and forum posting like you are on some CIA or FBI forum.

That's because you are new.  It only asks for the first few posts.  Every Simple Machines Forum that I've used has had the same procedure.
