Wifes eyes glazed over !!!!!!!!
« on: July 19, 2014, 04:33:11 PM »
Today whilst making a noise generator for my pc based spectrum analyser, my wife made the mistake of coming into the workshop,  just as I finished the noise generator , when she asked what it was for , so I explained it to her , also telling her about the  quality parts I made it from, and how rich it was in noise content, I nice 3 KHz band of quality noise across the scope screen. when I look up her eyes had glazed over, do you think , she was impressed, ::) or sorry she asked the question. ;)

It is the unmistakeable sign of temporary brain death. Similar to what you experience when you are dragged off to the shops and are asked to compare how she looks in various items of clothing, all of which to you are adequate.

Permanent damage may occur if you tell her just how much they cost, and that this was purchased in lieu of an item of apparel for her.

Not married, but have had the experience. All the disadvantages and none of the benefits.........

Only plus is no payments for your errors.

I am and I'm paying for the sweet talk of the early Years, and with two daughters , it's survival these days and keeping out of the way whenever possible.

Don't worry, wedding costs are coming......... Times two most likely.

Here the bride's parents pay for the wedding, while the groom has to pay the Lobola. Can get expensive on both sides......

Funny, my wife tries to listen to me, but you can tell she is in a catatonic state when I really get into it!  ;D
