    In this video I demonstrate some of the challenges a common earth through the electrical mains system can pose for oscilloscopes and other test equipment. I show the benefits of a portable / handheld oscilloscope (Siglent SHS810) and one that has isolated inputs (Siglent SHS1102).

    (Problems with a function generator and oscilloscope that are both mains earth referenced.)
