  • I used my Garmin Edge 305 GPS (cycling computer) to log some flight stats. The Garmin Edge does a great job as an alternative to a dedicated flight logger. The full stats for the entire flight can be downloaded to a PC.

    My CG (center of gravity) is normally tail heavy so I normally use some ballast in the nose. I removed that for this flight and place the GPS as far back as it would go…as luck would have it my CG was spot on.
