I'm wondering what the cost for a kWhr is around the world.
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. Our power company PG&E has us a Time of Use rate plan for a EV. While we are only paying $0.12 kWhr at off peak times, (nights and weekends) we are paying $0.50 (USD) for a kWhr during peak.
The switch to TOU dropped our monthly bill for electricity down about $30.00 I'm just having a hard time believing we are paying $0.50. I'm wondering if we are paying the highest price for a kWhr than anyone else in the world?
