Martindale CMi210 Insulation Clamp Meter Review

Hi Martin,

Just a couple of small notes.

1) At 14:07, you have an annotation that says "If you look at the actual calibration values noted under the clips ... it's a little out for the 10K... and for the 100K it's spot on."

Your DMM check is 9.997k.  The manual for the i210 says that the resistance range for the 60k ohm range is 1.0% + 5.

So 9.997 * 1.01 = 10.09697 (not including the 5 counts).  If we add the 5 counts, that is 10.09 + 5 = 10.14 or 10.15 (if you round up the 10.09697 reading).

The reading in your video at 14:14 is 10.00k.  So the i210 is within its stated accuracy.

2) At 14:20 of your video the meter shows 4.7V reading for AC.  According to the manual, in the 6V range, it should have a resolution of 0.001V. So why is the meter only showing 4.7V AC resolution?  What am I missing here?  Does the HFR drop the resolution?
