Part 2, a little about the lack of proper language use on CB radio, and that it may not be suitable for young children to listen to it unmonitored.

A little talk about hand held and digital receivers.

A little note for those not in the USA, in many countries ( including here in South Africa), it is illegal to listen to the communications of the police and emergency services, and in addition it is also often illegal to divulge the content of these to other parties, and this may land you in prison.

Do you need an expensive set? Not really, you can buy quite cheap, and it still will do most of the functions you want. Of course, you get better in general as you pay more, though that may come with caveats.

This was an interesting series. I'd be interested to see some real world use of the radios :).
